Beaches

Beach of Odeceixe

You can have a pleasant walk at low tide. In the south there is a second bay, only accessible by low tide, it is called Praia da Adega. At high tide, the only access is down the cliffs. It provides excellent conditions for canoeing and boat trips.

Beach of Samouqueira

A small and quiet beach. Small sandy spaces mixed with gravel. Ideal for nature lovers.

Praias de Vales dos Homens e Carriagem

Close to Rogil, little frequented beaches, ideal for nature lovers.

Beach of Amoreira

Beautifully located beach close to the town of Aljezur, here you can take a swim in the sea and in the river. Extensive beach and dunes. It is becoming more and more popular. Appreciate the detail of the black rocks at the northern top of the beach, it is said to look like a reclining giant.

Beach of Monte Clerigo

Blue flag beach, located about 10km from the town of Aljezur. It is an ideal beach for families because it is a large sandy beach with excellent facilities. Enjoy the beautiful panorama when you drive along the road to the beach.

Beach of Arrifana

The Blue Flag beach of Arrifana, a sandy beach that extends for more than half km. Out of high season it is popular with surfers and body boarders. Close to the ruins, built by the Arabs, you can enjoy one of the most beautiful views of the Vicentina coast.

Beach of Vale Figueira

With an extensive sandy beach and still relatively quiet, the beach of Vale Figueira is located south of the town of Aljezur, close to Alfambras.

Beach of Bordeira

In spite of being close to Carrapateira, it is designated as the Beach of Bordeira. This is because of the river that crosses at the top of the large sandy beach with its extensive dunes. It is a calm, little frequented beach that invites you to have a relaxing holiday. Over the years a pond has formed between the beach and the tarred road where children can play freely.

Beach of Amado

Very much sought after by the extreme sportsperson, it has already been the venue of several national and international Surf and Body Board competitions.
